Don’t forget on the west side of the storm, you can subtract the forward motion of the hurricane from the wind levels. So a 15mph storm blowing 90mph is only “net 75mph” on the left side of the map there. It can make a big difference, especially if you’re on the business end of the rotation, where you add the two together instead (which probably won’t happen here).
